His inventions dominated also flat tempering and bending and tempering furnace until 1980&#8217;ies. They were very expensive.\u00a0 I was told that GLASSTECH Inc. collected royalties for every square meter of tempered glass.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6><strong>FLAT GLASS TEMPERING<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>In 1990\u2019ies Tamglass Engineering were developing windscreen bending furnaces. And finally ruled flat glass tempering with HTF furnaces, invented also by Pauli Reunam\u00e4ki 1980&#8217;ies.\u00a0 Western competitors were GLASSTECH, Cattin, EFCO, Techoglass, Erdmann, MAPPI and KERAGLASS.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<h6><strong style=\"font-size: 16px;\">LOW EMISSIVE GLASSES CAME TO MARKED IN 1990&#8217;ies. <\/strong><\/h6>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong style=\"font-size: 16px;\">This created need for convection furnaces. Many western companies tried.\u00a0 Everyone failed.\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> IANUA succeed at the first try!<\/span> Ex-Tamglass engineer copied HTF radiation heated furnace and added convection to it.\u00a0 It was intended to be\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> convection + radiation process.\u00a0<\/span> It was christened CONVAIR.\u00a0 CONV for convection, A for and,\u00a0 IR for irradiation.<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> But it did include radiation.<\/span>\u00a0 Read this webpage \/ Flat Tempering.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong><strong style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #ff0000;\">\u00a0<\/span> <\/strong><\/p>\n<h6><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>THIS WAS DIFFICULT<\/b><\/span><\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Tamglass\/GLASTON competed with <em>&#8221;ProConvection&#8221;,<\/em> compressed air convection, with CONVAIR .\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Cattin quickly sold 5 convection heating furnaces. Tamglass bought Cattin immediately.\u00a0 Cattin furnaces fiascos. They were replaced by HTF furnaces.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">GLASSROBOTS<em> &#8221;RoboTemp&#8221; <\/em>made in 2003. It was basically a copy of CONVAIR. Tamglass or <\/span>GLASTON turbo charged convection named <span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8221;SONIC&#8221;. <\/span>\u00a0SONIC process was bad.\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Chinese <\/span>started in 1990\u2019ies, too. Typical to Chinese it was &#8221;RADIATION TYPE HEATING PROCESS&#8221; because it is cheapest. The process is bad and low capacity.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Land Glass Technology Co. Ltd and FERACITAS, <span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">(Risto Nikander) had license negotiations in 2002 \u2013 2003 for cheaper \u201dCONVAIR\u201d. Later it obtained US7290405B2 and Chinese patent ZL 02 8 16208.0. Land Glass violated FERACITAS patents. <\/span>Land Glass knew of EFCO and Cattin short heaters and MATRIX heating for radiation.\u00a0 Land Glass made it better and cheaper, JetConvection, CYCLONE and most likely UltraJet! \u00a0Land Glass dominated convection heating until 2010.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>GLASTON FC-Series since 2010.\u00a0 I<span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">t had proper matrix heating for convection air. <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">FC-series is otherwise a copy of CONVAIR and RoboTemp.\u00a0 Marketing and sales were a great <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">success.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>The air circulation illustration below.
